Peter van den Eede has assembled a cast of top performers including Sien Eggers, best remembered for her roles in reality spoofs In De Gloria, Van Vlees en Blood and Het Eiland. Rebellious dramatists Jan Decorte and Sigrid Vinks will also take the stage with the support of Nico Sturm, a compagnie De Koe regular. If that doesn’t set off sparks on stage, we don’t know what will! In this adaptation by Paul Mennes, they will tackle Grey Gardens, a 1976 documentary by Albert and David Maysles. The film depicts two eccentric, “classy” aristocratic ladies living in squalor in the isolated and decrepit Grey Gardens mansion in East Hampton, New York.
