Actor seeks author. After all, actors cannot perform without a script. Sometimes they will write one themselves, but more often they browse existing material. STAN has invited an as yet unknown number of authors to write a new text for them. Dutch-language authors who made a lasting impression on them, who continue to intrigue them or who changed their lives with a novel, short story, poem or column… STAN actors Sara De Roo and Frank Vercruyssen will be joined by Tine Embrechts, Robby Cleiren, Natali Broods and Nico Sturm. The chosen authors – Saskia De Coster, Patricia De Martelaere, Tom Lanoye, Bart Moeyaert, Yves Petry & Annelies Verbeke – will put words in the actors’ mouths.
