Change of date! The concert will take place on April 23 instead of Feb 17. Visitors who already bought a ticket will get a call from our Box Office. The theme of the concert will be the album presentation of the second FES album Cheer Me, Perverts and not Answer Songs, as was announced earlier.
After their adventure with Jimi Tenor and their rendition of classics works by composers such as Stravinski and Kagel, big band Flat Earth Society now presents its second album Cheer Me, Perverts (an anagram of band leader Peter Vermeersch’s name), released on the Crammed label. Once again, the style of the album is varied: loud and wild passages alternate with charming catchy tunes. A FES score reads like a thriller, interspersed with romantic scenes, an occasionally bloody plot and 15 assassins pointing the finger at each other. A page-turner that has you on the edge of your seat, while all you really want to do is get up and swing.
