Due to artistical problems, Toren has been cancelled. You will be contacted by the Vooruit box office if you already bought tickets.
Toren is a road movie taking place on the hard shoulder. We follow a day in the life of Vivian, who is out of touch with reality and feels the truth slipping from her hands. But then Vivian walks into her own movie: she takes her clothing rack and walks onto the motorway! Actress Ruth Becquart defies the movie projected behind her, made by video collective Berlin and starring Karlijn Sileghem, Jos Verbist and Ides Meire. The stories on stage and on screen intertwine like streets on a map.
Ruth Becquart gained experience with Theater Malpertuis, Theater Antigone and the Toneelhuis, but now performs her first monologue inspired by the life of Merlin.
