The Nature Theater of Oklahoma is a hip, unconventional American performance ensemble, bringing you fresh and challenging shows. Pieter T’Jonck (De Morgen) deemed their play No Dice, constructed around recorded and re-enacted telephone conversations, “the sensation of the New York theatre festival Under the Radar”, awarding it 5 out of 5 stars. At Vooruit they will perform their first production, Poetics: a ballet brut. An intensely physical and energetic performance very close to dance. Four performers parade on stage, drink coffee and study the audience. But then these everyday actions suddenly lead to a fast and concise choreography.
