Medvedev’s strong documentary takes us to Arkhangelsk, where the Russians used to test hydrogen bombs. The current inhabitants wander around the marshes to collect so-called cosmic waste that they can make use out of in their houses.

The inhabitants of Minot, North Dakota, have a very interesting backyard. No less than 150 nuclear missiles are stored underground. This penetrating documentary explores how a small community copes with such a burden.
