Penguins Know Why makes post-punk with influences of Iggy Pop, Sonic Youth and Interpol. The band has a penchant for raw melodies and indigestible noise, but stil has us begging for more: the crowd loved them at the local pop and rock competition ‘De Beloften’ in 2007, and they took home the first prize. ‘De Beloften’ challenges you to make your own music video to a Pinguins Know Why song and take the Courtisane festival by storm.
