Bon Iver will not play in the Café, but in the Balzaal. The concert is and stays for free.

In 2006 Justin Vernin retreated to a remote cabin in the Wisconsin woods to hibernate after his band Deyarmond Edison split. He filled his days with thinking, hunting and chopping wood, while also making time to write new songs, although he hadn’t originally set out to. He released 500 copies of the result, the album For Emma, Forever Ago, under the pseudonym Bon Iver. Pitchork gave the album 8.1 out 10, and the record featuring sensitive acoustic neo-soul sold out in no time. This grabbed the attention of record companies worldwide and the album was re-released – in Belgium the album will be released by 4AD. Be one of the first to discover Bon Iver in the Vooruit Café!
