After a series of rock experiments, Gravenhurst’s music has evolved from introverted acoustic folk to typically British melancholy psychedelia, reminiscent of Pink Floyd. In the past years the band has toured Europe and America supporting Broadcast and Belle & Sebastian. Last year saw the release of their fourth studio album, The Western Lands, on Warp Records.
You can discover the intimate qualities of the band in the Balzaal.
Lovers of quiet, repetitive melodies carrying secrets that gently unravel will adore “The Western Lands.” (translated from Digg.be)
