Video artist Bart Stolle will capture the audience’s attention in unexpected places. On several screens in the Vooruit building he will present short clips featuring simple shapes and colours and slightly obtrusive rhythms.
For the rhythm of his images Stolle drew inspiration from the busy, mechanical style so typical of techno music videos. His work does, however, exceed the level of popular music videos, because Stolle interwines it with art history – thus connecting abstract art and current technology.
