Harry Merry, the crazy Dutch songwriter, entertainer and one-man band, first discovered music in his aunt’s café in Delft, where he spent hours observing the jukebox. Now he performs in tents and obscure bars, but the seventies are still a source of nostalgia for him. On his rickety keyboard he brings pop tunes to life in a refreshing way. He’s not the best at keeping tune, but his unique combination of bizarre glam rock, French chanson, Slovenian pop and turbo folk makes his show all the more worthwile.
