International politics, Belgian foreign policy and diplomacy are professor Rik Coolsaet’s (Univeristy of Ghent) area of expertise. He’s already published several books on the subject, one of them being Macht en waarden in de wereldpolitiek – Actuele vraagstukken in de internationale politiek (Power and values in world politics – current issues in international politics). In the spring he will present his new book, De geschiedenis van de wereld van morgen (The history of the world of tomorrow).

There will also be a debate with Jean-Luc Dehaene (CD&V), Fons Van Dyck (president of the research agency think/BBDO), Fatma Pehlivan (schepen van Gent, Sp.a) and Luc Cortebeeck (ACV), Annemie Neyts (ELDR), Marc Reynebeau (De Standaard) and Siegfried Bracke (VRT).
