On Wednesday the 21st of May, Uitgelezen will celebrate its fifth birthday. At this festive edition, Fien Sabbe, Jos Geysels (Minister of State), Anna Luyten (Knack magazine), Guy Verhofstadt (Belgium’s Prime Minister) and Phara De Aguirre (journalist for VRT - Flemish National TV) will discuss three books picked by the Vooruit audience.

Voting closed on the 27th of March.

The following books received the most votes and will be discussed:

• Mustafa Kör – De Lammeren (The Lambs),
• Niet opnieuw (Not again) – School zonder Racisme (Schools without Racism) and the senior class of SAM Menen
• Philip Roth – Exit Ghost (Dutch translation).

With music from Luc De Vos (Gorki) and Kapinga & Eva Gysel (Radio Candip and the soulful backing vocals from Zita Swoon and Arsenal).
