Uitgelezen is a live book programme by and for readers. At each edition, host Fien Sabbe welcomes regular panel members Anna Luyten (Knack) and Jos Geysels (Minister of State – an honorary title for Belgian politicians) who’ll review three books. They’ll be assisted by Caroline Gennez (the first female president of the sp.a, the Flemish socialist party) and Filip Joos (up-and-coming sports journalist for the VRT, Flemish Broadcasting Company). There will also be a book tombola, witty cartoons by ZAK and music by Radio Candip (singers with Belgian band Zita Swoon).

In December, we’ll be holding a British themed edition for which we’ll feature the following novels: The Rain Before it Falls by Jonathan Coe, On Chesil Beach by Ian McEwan and Nick Hornby’s Slam.
