The concert by The Twilight Sad has been cancelled because the band had other commitments
After yours of hard work, Scottish band The Twilight Sad has good reason to be proud. With their debut album, Fourteen Autums & Fifteen Winters, the boys from Glasgow provide the perfect record to get through winter: blistering epic rock songs, stirring soundscapes reminiscent of Mogwai and lead singer James Graham strong Scottish accent.
The Scots build up their songs in layers, which gives them a strong identity. Just listen to the fantastic guitars in That Summer, at Home I Had Become the Invisible Boy or the subtle piano in Last Year’s Rain Didn’t Fall Quite So Hard, and you’ll agree that The Twilight Sad is here to stay. They have been compared to bands such as Arab Strap and Interpol, but we think the Scots have enough talent to create their own unique sound.
It’s no wonder then that The Twilight Sad got a record deal with the renowned British FatCat Records. Other artists on the label include Múm and Song of Green Pheasant. With this record, we’re armed and ready for winter
