In November we’ll be shedding light on Kris Verdonck’s work. After the performance of I/II/III/IIII, Tom Bonte, Vooruit’s Performing Arts programmer, will discuss Verdonck’s earlier work with Verdonck himself and with Marianne Van Kerckhoven, dramaturge at the Kaaitheater and the producer of this show.
They will also uncover the ideas behind this show. Afterwards, the four dancers from I/II/III/IIII will talk about how they tried to bring these ideas to life, how they experienced the transition from free dancers to puppets, etc. The story about becoming a robot; from ideas to reality.
