With the colourful brass band Vooruit Met De Kuit, we will be coming to evening markets and parties in your neigbourhood. (see below)
Keep your eyes peeled for us and maybe you’ll receive a Vooruit goodie.
So far, we’ve visited the Antwerp Cultuurmarkt, Sint-Amandsberg, the Astridpark and the Ledebergse Feesten.

Vooruit Met De Kuit is een enthousiaste bende dolle majorettes en rare muzikanten. Met originele danspassen, kleurrijke outfits en anarchistische mars- en dansmuziek laten ze de traditionele majoretterie-adepten vreemd opkijken. En toch, of juist daarom, slaagt de fanfare erin verwondering, vertedering en vooral een brede glimlach op te wekken.

‘Vooruit Met De Kuit’ is an enthusiastic gang of crazy majorettes and weird musicians. With original dance moves, colourful outfits and anarchistic marching and dance music they raise eyebrows with traditional majorette aficionados. But even then (or perhaps because of this) the brass band manages to surprise, endear and most importantly, raise smiles.
