Ozark Henry was hot property the past year. In September 2006, he released his fifth studio album, The Soft Machine, which was chock-a-block with his signature warm, intimate pop songs. The single These Days completes the list of hits he scored in the past, such as Rescue, Sweet Instigator, Indian Summer, At Sea, etc.

Ozark Henry makes music that is appreciated by a broad public. 2007 brought a triumphant tour of Flanders. In February, he received a Zamu Award for Best Pop / Rock Artist and he was the first Belgian artist to get an IFPI Award for the most legally downloaded artist. The album went platinum (40,000 copies sold) and Ozark played a sold-out Forest National (one of the biggest concert halls in Belgium) and made a big impression at the summer festivals.

Ozark Henry is somewhat of a creative jack-of-all-trades. In the past, he wrote the soundtrack for Flemish detective series Sedes&Belli, the children’s film Crusade in Jeans and also for To Walk Again, the documentary about the disabled Flemish triathlete Marc Herremans directed by Stijn Coninx. In 2004, he produced Another Lonely Soul, Novastar’s second album.

Ozark Henry is on the verge of an international breakthrough, and that’s why he will be concentrating on promoting his music all over Europe the next two years. The Soft Machine Tour is your last chance to catch Ozark Henry live in Belgium before he goes on his European adventure.
