The café, situated centrally in the arts centre, has its finger on the pulse of what is happening on the building’s numerous stages. There is always something going on, be it in the daytime or before or after the show.

If you’ve got the munchies, the Vooruit café offers you

• a delicious special, with meat or vegetarian (€ 8.90)
• spaghetti, with meat or vegetarian (€ 8.30) / spaghetti for children (€6.40)
• homemade soup of the day (€ 2.90 or €3.70 incl. slice of organic bread)
• a range of (organic) rolls with salad: cheese / ham / brie with nuts / salmon salad / chicken curry / vegetable paté / homemade americain / goat’s cheese with chives / ricotta with parmesan and olives / ciabatta with Ganda ham and mozzarella (all ingredients are organic) (starting at € 2.90)

If you are in a rush, you can always get a roll or a mini baguette to go (starting at € 2.20).

The Vooruit café kitchen is open from Monday until Friday between 11.30 am and 8.30 pm and on Saturdays from 6.00 pm until 8.30pm.

Vooruit does not only have a heart for art but also for our fellow people and the environment. That’s why Vooruit café uses Fair Trade and environmentally friendly organic products as much as possible. Our coffee and tea are Fair Trade products. These guarantee fair trade prices for the producers.
